About

About

Cafe Moly opened on Douglas St, Cork in December 2020.

The Stronghold S9X roaster with roasted beans in the cooling tray.

We are incredibly privileged to be part of a fantastic community here, which we affectionately call the "Village in the City". In the café you will find a wide selection of coffees on the pour-over menu and pastries baked in-house fresh daily. With only nine tables, we are a pretty small space.

We roast our coffee in Cork city on a Stronghold S9X electric roaster, the first of its kind in Ireland. Its triple heat source lets us shape each roasting profile for our various coffees, each of which needs a different approach.

We have always tried to offer a diverse range of coffees, from crowd pleasers like washed Colombias and natural Brazils to rarer coffees from places like Timor Leste, China and Uganda. We offer specialty canephora (robusta) alongside high-scoring arabica varieties such as gesha and chiroso.
